King Wen of the Zhou Dynasty (1213 to 1117 B.C.) was the head of the Zhou nation in late Shang Dynasty. It's said that during the seven years when King Wen was imprisoned in the town of Maili, he developed Fu Xi's Eight Trigrams, or the Early Heaven Arrangement into King Wen's Eight Trigrams, or the Later Heaven Arrangement. This is the famous story of "Imprisoned King Wen makes the Book of Changes" in history.
